I’m so excited to be starting this new venture. All of my life I’ve been obsessed with makeup. Well maybe not ALL my life but at least since my 20’s. I spent my teen years with sperm brows and dark lip liner. Don’t judge me, you know you all had them too! Once I graduated college my life consisted of being an assistant to just about everyone and now I am taking my career in my own hands. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 3 years now and instead of taking nap after nap, I’ve decided to finally be productive.
Who better to start on this journey with me then someone who is obsessed with skin care as I am with makeup? My best friend Brandi Glanville. I’m pretty sure most of you know who she is, she is known as the queen of heartbreak and the woman who reinvented herself after a public celebrity divorce. But I believe she’s most known for her shit stirring ways on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Some people call it shit stirring but I call it full on entertainment. She is the truth cannon but from knowing her personally I can tell you for a fact she’s the sweetest, kindest, most loyal friend a girl could ask for. We met on twitter when she had about 40 followers. She says 9 but she had more than that. Silly girl! The friendship blossomed from there and we just clicked. We have conversations that stem from men, our kids and their fart jokes, to what’s the best face mask and injectables that will make us look 10 years younger. She’s been there through many of my struggles as I have been there through many of her’s. We have cried together, laughed together and talked about many karmic bitch smacking moments we wish to witness together. I love her to death!!!!!
As I’ve gotten older I’ve found that I’m all about makeup. I first found my love of makeup when I wanted to impress an ex at a holiday party. I was instructed by a lovely makeup artist who taught me how to do a grey smokey eye. After that I was hooked. I watched YouTube tutorials day in and day out learning and recreating looks to the point I now do my own looks. I also take advantage of all my friends and family and use their faces to perfect my craft. They’re certainly not complaining though. As I enter my 40’s and leave my 30’s kicking and screaming, I find myself more interested in how to rid my face of wrinkles and how I can stall time just a bit longer. One things for sure is that we both want to share our knowledge with all of you.
Welcome to our journey!!!!
